The reason – a reason under an answer to the question above:

A study was released in the ‘Journal Diabetes Care’ (2005) showed that daily caffeine can contribute to the problem of ‘insulin resistance’ (i.e., insulin cannot be used effectively when burning sugar for energy. This causes a lot of sugar that is not ‘burnt’ in in the blood) besides insulin resistance prevents ovulation (egg release from the ovary).

Other studies found that caffeine raise the level of estrogen in the blood, causing infertility.

Caffein and pregnancy

Several studies have also been conducted and they found that women who drank more than one cup of coffee a day will suffer the effects of infertility by 50 percent. They found that women who drank no coffee had probabilities of conceiving average 26.9 in 100 menstrual cycles, while coffee drinkers was 10.5 per 100 pregnancies in the menstrual cycle.

Other studies show women who consumed 300mg or more of caffeine, has a probability of pregnancy is lower.

Not only that, excessive caffeine intake can also be a cause of miscarriage.

As we all know, caffeine can cause blood vessels to shrink. If this happens blood flow to the placenta (placenta) is reduced so the supply of oxygen and nutrients. In addition, caffeine can also reach the baby in uterus and affect the growth of cells.

Study related risk of miscarriage as a result of caffeine:

Taking caffeine in pregnancy

A study in Denmark found that high consumption of coffee (8 cups a day) would increase the risk of infant death in r uterus (stillbirth) twice compared with women who did not practice drinking coffee.

High caffeine intake is also said to cause babies born underweight and baby boy in the circumstances ‘undescended testes’ (i.e. egg baby testicles are not in the scrotum testicle / scrotum). (Although this study goes little weak, do not mean to be depending one eye)

Perhaps for some women, caffeine does not affect them. But for women it is difficult to conceive, preferably caffeine intake to stop the practice. Remember to reduce the intake of caffeine coffee consumption is not just merely okay! Some reference caffeinated beverages can refer to the entry “Value Caffeine in drinks”
